What could one expect for £2300?

    Hi All,

This is my budget.. I've always owned and driven Peugeots and have never
had any complaint but my 205 is nearing the end of it's life and has
very little trade in or resale value (if any). I have approximately
£2300 to spend on a replacement. I'd like something reasonably sporty
and reliable. I was thinking about a 306 of some sort. I can devote a
bit of time to working on the car but not much so a runner with full MOT
    would be preferable.

    Any suggestions?

    Tom.

I would have thought a 306TD (or is it D Turbo then) would be worth a drive.
Probably an N or a P plate in fair nick.

Depends what you mean by sporty. The 306TD can definately look sporty and
can feel pretty good too if the boosters doing its job.
