Can anyone tell me which clutch type I've got or tell me how to
identify this? It's an S reg 1.9 turbo diesel GLX saloon. I've got a
problem with excessive travel on the clutch pedal (I have to put the
pedal to the floor to change gear) and a fair bit of play before it
starts to give any pressure. Any halp much appreciated.

    Cheers

  2. According to Haynes it is a self adjusting cable on all models except the
2.1 litre diesel which is hydraulic.

What Keith said. It's fairly obvious if you look at the clutch operating
    lever.
