Sounds crazy, and this is one of those late-night-thoughts.

But on the XS, I was thinking a small wet nitrous oxide system could really
    improve the acceleration.
I know the engine would need to be reconditioned and probably partly rebuilt
with an uprated air intake and exhaust system, probably better sparks, with
maybe concideration going to the cooling system also (if the size of the
nitrous injectors were to be increased over time).

...and Im going to speak to a specialist about this, but a small bhp gain
wouldn't be such a crazy idea with throttle controlled nitrous with a
    progressive controller, would it?

I can see huge insurance problems with this, in that when they hear the
words nitrous and oxide they loose bowel control, Im thinking off-road
purposes here as well as road advantages.

Any thoughts on it, before I go for a talk? I'd like to be armed with lots
of questions and conciderations before I go in.
