Variable rear suspension

    Hello members my peugeot 407 2.7 coupe 2008 model failed MOT on the off side rear variable spring which is broken and I have tried to get a replacement unit which Peugeot dealers say it doesn't supply now so does that mean I will have to scrap my carI wonder if anyone out there can help me please
