I agree but yesterday I was shown how to use the wheel balancer, wheel
changer, sandblaster, sun machine, steam cleaner, all in a matter of an hour,
when the guy left I had a go at each but the tyre changer was harder than I
thought & I have show some trainees on monday. help

I was given a quick insight, safety is the main facter here.
I've used such machines in the past so I knew the basics - I have a better
idea how to use the Sun Machine than I do the Wheel Changer.
Ive been teaching these things on and off for a while now, every machine in
a workshop works slightly differently. Obviously I'm not daft enough to
show somebody til Ive ive mastered it myself, this is why Ive asked here.
Some mechanics/tyre fitters on this group must have ideas. Plus I'm trying
to put together a step by step guide.
My trainees won't be touching this tyre machine unsupervised, please don't
knock me for trying Ive used all kinds of garage equipment in the past and I
an qualified as a mechanic but I haven't had much experience with tyre
fitting we left that to kwik fit/National tyres.
I was in a big garage 20 years ago and in the 12 years I was there I was
the only person qualified to use their sun machine.

No problems there but especially with the tyre machine you need to be
able to make it go wrong, explain why it's happened and how to rectify
    it without shafting the tyre.
