Speedo intermittently stops working

    I have a 2003 406. Over the last 2 years, the speedo sometimes drops to zero and then works again after a minute or so. What is the possible cause and can it lead to more serious problems? The air conditioner and fan have also stopped working 6 months ago and with summer hitting now I would like some hints on that as well. New car perhaps?? Should any of these problems show up as an error message or code. I would really appreciate some help. Thank you Diana
