Sinngle on Peugeot 106

    I have a very good condition Peugeot 106 (2001). When I apply the brakes or when I accelerate I get a single clunk coming from the rear.It sounds like it's coming more from the offside rather than the near side.
    I would very much appreciate it if somebody could identify this single clunk noise and what to do to remedy this problem.
