The easiest and most reliable way to figure this out is to physically check the old module in your car before buying a new one.

    Here’s why:
    • Production variations: Peugeot often used different suppliers for the same part on the same model year.

    • Exact match is crucial: A new module must have the exact same connector to fit and work properly.
    • Locate the power steering control module in your vehicle. It’s typically mounted on the power steering pump.
    1. Unplug the main electrical connector from the module.

    2. Count the number of "teeth" or pins on the connector itself. This will tell you if you need a 3-tooth or 4-tooth version.
If you can't get to the module yourself, another option is to get the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) of your car and call a Peugeot dealership or parts supplier. They can use the VIN to look up the exact part number and version that was originally installed in your car.
