Peugeot 307 SW with seven seats

Discussion in 'Peugeot 307' started by Detlef Kleiss, Aug 6, 2003.

  1. Hello out there,

has anybody make any experiences with the Peugeot 307 SW
    with seven seats? Especially:
    - How are the additional two seats fitted to the car?
    - Are the passengers on these seats do sit in driving
direction or are they facing the rear window?
    - Are the seats equipped with 3 point safety belts?

Furthermore to those who already drive a 307 SW:
what motor would you recommend for that car (Iam looking
    for a Diesel)

    Thank you

    Detlef

    Yes, I have the 2.0 16v petrol.
holders in the floor of the boot.
I would recommend the HDi 110 engine, which I couldn't have due to internal
    fleet car politics!

The car is excellent, we have had some problems with "Anti Pollution Fault"
warnings showing but that apart it does all we ask of it. It replaced a
Vauxhall Zafira and whilst the very rear seats are less accommodating it
handles more like a car and less like a van.

The kids love the rear seats, I have travelled for about 30 minutes in one
and was quite glad to get out!

  3. I would wait a little and get the new 1.6 HDI 110hp which is a much
newer and better design than the pretty old 2.0 110hp. The 1.6 should
also use a lot less diesel and be cheaper to buy.

I'm hoping they'll finally offer an automatic transmission on a
diesel-engine when the 1.6 HDI debuts in the 307 SW...
