peugeot 307 heater fault

    Hi there i have a 307, 2006 SW SE est, with climate control, with a fauty heater, it used to work for a couple of seconds when first started up and then cut out then on other ocasions worked fine and could be operated fron the control panel, ive taken it to a local garage and they have replaced the heater resister on the passenger side that looks like a lot of tiny rods, a new one has been fitted and now when the ignition is turned on the heater blasts away on full speed amd cannot be adjusted, although by adjusting controls on panel makes no difference until ignition is turned off
    Does anyone know of this problem
