    Hi
I wondered if anyone could explain the following error message and let
me know if it is a big job to put it right.

    Thanks

    "Diesel Additive Minimum Level"

Supongo que tendrá filtro antipartículas. Es un depósito que existe al
efecto. Lo han de hacer en el concesionario Peugeot.

Gracias! Managed to translate using an online tool to: "You must fill
up the additive deposit of the diesel oil. I suppose that it will have
filter antiparticles. It is a deposit that exists to the effect. There
are it to do in the Peugeot concessionaire."

Does anyone know if this is just a top up or a part-replacement - is it
something that can only be done at Peugeot expensively!?

    Thanks again

It's a top up of the Cerine fluid which is injected into the fuel to
help with the emissions. You can do it yourself though I wouldn't
advise it as it can be messy and it is not advisable to get this stuff
on your skin. You may need up to 5 litres and it costs around £25 a
litre. Unfortunately afterwards you have to tell the ECU that the
additive tank has been topped-up, and that needs doing at your dealer.
The whole thing SHOULD only take around an hour.

  6. I would also point out that usually when the additive is low, very soon your
particulate filter will need replacing soon as it gets deposited in this .

Are particulate filters expensive? I was thinking of buying a vehicle
that had this engine management fault but am thinking better of it now!
