peugeot 306 wiper relay- where is it?

    does anyone know where the wiper relay is- the problem is that the wipers
    do not return to their start position unless the wipers are turned on!

    i've tried all the relays under the steering column near the fuses but
    none of them control the wipers!

    does anyone know what can fix the wipers?
