A couple of weeks ago my master cylinder went. Peugeot replaced the part with no need to work on the clutch due to this being an external part hence no clutch contamination. But since the work I’ve noticed a whining noise from the car when decelerating. There is no issue when selecting gears no clutch slip and no noise on accelerating but when slowing down for slip roads off motorways or roundabouts on dual carriageways it sounds like an angry moped is next to me. The car has been back in for two days and all they found was an issue with the near side wheel bearing which has been replaced. Sadly this hasn’t fixed the noise issue though. The master cylinder maybe a red herring. Just wondered if any of you dad more knowledgable people than I had any ideas? Thanks in advance
