Ok, my engine cut out the other week so i got it took to the garage.
anyway - they told me it’s the fuel pump as their was no fuel
pressure.. so anyway i got it replaced (expensive as its hdi). Anyway
they then told me theirs a problem with the fuel railings and possible
problems with the fuel injectors (ahhh another £2000). Anyway - i told
them to first change the fuel railings to see if that may of been the
problem ... anyway so I’ve got a new pump and a new fuel rail..
however aparently theirs still a problem which isnt anything to do
with the injectors! ive been told theirs still low fuel pressure! -
anyone got any idea’s? otherwise this could get expensive! :?

  2. Which pump did they replace. The low pressure one in the tank (if it is
the same as a 406) is the one that usually goes and allows metal filings to
travel through the system. If they replaced the high pressure one then a
low pressure problem could still be present.
