    Hi Folks,

At the risk of seeming totally hopeless, can anyone tell me how to remove
the nearside (left) tail-light cluster (brake lights etc) on a 205 (if it
matters, its an M-reg, 1995 Sceptre Turbo Diesel).

This *should* be a really straightforward job, [but I don't find anything on
    a 205 to be particularly
straightforward owing to the way it's all stuffed-in :-( ] Haynes isn't too
    helpful on this, either...

    Thanks in anticipation.

    Hi,
I assume you're talking about the chrome-colored plastic part where bulbs
    are fit.
    on
It *is* straightforward. Open the roof to get both screws. Remove them, pull
gently, you've got the cover off now. You can change bulbs.
From memory, remove bulbs and pull the cluster, remove the connectors (I may
    be wrong here).
Well, I don't think everything's is evident on a car... whatever type it is,
and the 205 isn't the worst, IMO.

To get the chrome-colored part out as well, remove the little nut on the
    inside of the car.

Thanks, this was the "little detail" that has been bugging me; applying
moderate force to the assembly just wasn't seeming to do the job!

Thanks for all the help, guys!

    Cheers!
