My red pug has a bonnet with sun damaged paint. The worst parts consist
of some sperical-like patches which are white. I want to mask these. I
have tried colour-coded polish, but to no avail.

I am thinking of applying a little paint with a fine brush, then, once
dry, I intend to use a little rubbibg compound to try and blend it in.
Does this sound likely to be successful. I don't want to spay the whole
    bonnet.

If this works, I'll polish up the whole bonnet with colour coded polish
    and hope it looks better.

Let me know what you think.

    Best wishes

I tried using T CUT and then a little wet and dry (wet) paper.
Unfortunately, the bonnet appears multi-coloured now. It should be red.
I tried using a colour coded polish, but this made little difference.
Is there anything else I can try, before considering a respray.

    THanks
