new to Peugeots... where is engine number please?

    Hi.
    Just bought 2005 307 as runabout. its a petrol 1.6 16v, seems solid and drives well. I haven't had the V5 back yet so don't know the engine number. I have the VIN number on the car but can't see engine number anywhere and need it to buy timing belt /tensioner etc. Have looked on internet obviously but still none the wiser. Where will it be? Thanks. Mal.
