Bought a 1998 406 with alloys. Come to change a wheel and find that the
adaptor is missing for the locking nut. Seller can't help. Does anyone know
how to get the nuts off without the special tool or can I get a tool from
    somewhere?

    TIA

YOU MIGHT HAVE TO HAMMER A SOCKET ON TO IT AND THEN REMOVE IT.

or if it's the type with holes that need to match pegs in the key you may be
able to drive it round with a chisel
