When it rains, drips come through from in front of the light fitting in
    my 206.

There are two obvious candidates for where this is coming from. Either
    the Aerial or the windscreen.

Any suggestion as to what I can do to work out which, and is there a
cheap easy way to deal with this rather than take it to the garage? I
have some bathroom sealant but I don't think that will really do the
    job.

I had some stuff a few years back now called seek and seal, it came in what
looked like a 3in1 tin like the oil, its very thin and all you do is squeeze
the tin (like 3in1) and let gravity do the rest, I used it on an escort van
windscreen and it worked very well.

    Hope this helps

    Sounds promising.

Where did you get it from? Google is a bit vague.

I got it from a local motor factors, (Hertfordshire) I think I spotted a can
of it the other day in another local motor factors now(Norfolk area)
It came in the exact same tin as 3 in 1 oil did, but was in a blue colour.
don't know if someone like Halfords may have it but if you have a local non
franchise car motor factors try them first.

I have just found a post via yahoo, on a VW newsgroup and someone on there
said that they managed to get some "seek and seal" from halfords, so you may
    be in luck.
