    Hi

About a year ago I had a knocking noise coming from my wheels and my "anti
roll bars" where replaced which solved the problem.

12 months down the line, the problem has returned. I am wondering if it is
the same problem or whether it is more likely to me the shock absorbers or
    maybe something else?

The noise only occurs when I hit a bump in the road or speed bumps etc...

The car is a W reg (yr 2000) 406 HDi Rapier Estate with 73000 on the clock.

    Any ideas?
    TIA

  2. Sounds like damper eyes to me. You got a lot of speed bumps around you? (or
    do you drive off-road ;-))

  3. Probably nothing to do with it, but I had a knock (more a thump really) at
the back when I went over speed bumps etc and it turned out to be the mud
    flaps bottoming.
