    I recently bought a Peugeot 206 Zest 3.

The buttons weren't working on the key fob when i bought the car. I replaced the battery this morning and the key still isnt working.

I used a online guide and the LED isn't flashing.

Guide I used below. I cant get part 2 to work.

    Can someone help? Thanks

    ------

CENTRAL DOOR LOCK with DEADLOCKING (2 BUTTON PLIP KEY)

    1. Ensure all doors are unlocked using the key.

    2. Press and HOLD the large plip key button while the LED flashes continuously for 20 seconds. After 20 seconds press the small deadlock button once while still holding the large button.

    3. The LED will stop flashing.

    4. Release the large button and the LED will light constantly.

    5. Press the large button once and the LED will go out.

    6. Open the door and hold the Plip key near the Ignition switch and press the large plip button once.

    7. Turn the ignition ON, wait 10 seconds and then turn the ignition OFF.

    8. After 5 seconds the Plip should now operate.

If you havent got it already fixed, maybe the micro switches dont work anymore, and may need two new micro swtches soldering onto the mini PC board. That is a very delicate operation but easie with a large magnifying glass, There are tutorial on Youtube how to do this.
If you can get them tested with a Volt meter to see that they are still working or not, if they are ok, then the remote center locking needs syncing with the car whilst in the ignition.
