Key fob not working

    Hi can anyone help me I recently had a new windscreen fitted and since then my car key fob will not work, can anyone tell me is the alarm sensor in the black gadget!!!! attached to the windscreen it seems to much of a coincidence as never had a problem for the five years I have owned it. I have changed the battery but still does not work, I am a bit worried about opening the car with the key as I would think the alarm might go off? Then will take a time to disconnect the battery with a lot of noise going on. Please can anyone help me.
