Just picked up my 307 HDi

after having it booked in for loose engine undertray,noisy at idle,dodgy
indicators,creaking suspension when turning or manouvering,

indicator stalk replaced,far better and stiffer than the original although
it still cancels when not even fully straightened up.

modification done to anti roll bar,no more creaking evident.

engine undertray nothing done,he says the bolts on the tray look like they
are loose but they are some sort of twist bolt.

noisy idle nothing done,garage have test driven and says that slight noise
is normal and nothing to worry about.

overall i'm now 99% happy with the 307 and i think it was one of my best
purchases so far.

My better half's company purchased about 100 Peugeot 307's. They have had
various teething problems, but no more than when they used the new Vauxhall
Astras in their last fleet.

Brand new cars are always a gamble, but to have a new car that's a new MODEL
too, well you have to expect problems sadly.

My girlfriend's car has been fairly good - she had the suspension sorted,
and the indicators too - now it is fairly good, and it's a really nice car
to drive, and well equipped too.

I'd rate it 8/10.

I agree they are a nice car. The problem I have is the dealer is very
unreliable and peugeot head office really don't care.
I was left 3 months with a rear door which won't open. A year on and I'm
still having speakers, indicator stalks etc changed.
It all means that a lot of my weekends are taken up at the Peugeot dealer.
All the dealers in the local area are operated by the same company as well.
The only way around getting all the problems sorted is by getting rid of the
car and going for a German make.
