I have recently bought a 307 second hand. However the spare key remote
locking does not work. It will start the car but wont open the doors
    etc.

I went out to a shop and bought a new battery and tried the reprogram
feature, but it still dont work. The technique I tried is :-

    1) Put non working key in ignition.
    2) Turn ignition on (2 clicks)
    3) Turn off ignition
    4) Turn on ignition
    5) press lock button for 10 secs
    6) release lock button and turn off ignition
    7) try key
    8) nothing happens.

Is this technique right? Also if this key is duff. Can I just buy
another key from ebay for example and reprogram that?

Just ask your Peugeot dealer, they will fix it for you in 5 minutes. (if
    they are cooperative ;-)

  4. You are doing it right ... also try switch ignition off WAIT 3 MINS!!!!
disconnect vehicle battery wait 5 mins reconnect program both keys if it
still dont work duff key. Also you will have to reprog windows(if auto windows)
as they will go up in stages otherwise.-windows> keep pressing button to get
window down then keep pressing button to go up..when fully up hold button in
the up position for 3 secs ,let go,then press button down .The window should
then go down by itself (not in stages). If you get a key off e-bay it must be
blank, then you need to get it programmed (immobiliser) then prog central
locking how you have been... regards mark
