Headlights 206

Discussion in 'Peugeot 206' started by Radio Dismuke, Oct 2, 2008.

  1. When I turn the headlights on they are dipped. Fine. When I put the
main beam on both the dipped and main beams are on. I can't seem to put
the main beams on by themselves. Is this correct?

    Car is a 05 plate

I think so. Both lights have separate bulbs, so I don't think they will
    overheat this way.
It's the same with my 307, and I like it. This gives a wider view to your
    main beams...

If the main and dipped beams are separate bulbs rather than a dual
filament H4 then this is quite common. My Honda motorcycle is the same and
I like it too, gives twice as much light on main beam.
