Gunson Fault Finded for Citroen/Peugeot

Does anybody know whether the Gunson Fault Finder for Citroen/Peugeot vehicles (available from Halfords for appox £20.00) is compatible with a late year 2000 Peugeot 306 (1.6 petrol engine). If yes, where is the socket that the fault finder should be plugged into located?
