Hello, I'm owning a Peugeot 309 1990 55kW fuel injection version. As it seems the gearbox has gone bad therefore needs to be replaced. Because of my location (Latvia) there aren't available any 309's for spare parts. However there are some other similar peugeot's available for parts, like 106 1.1 which looks very similar but has TU1 engine not TU3m which I've got. And TU3 engines are also in Citroen's like XSara but would the gearbox fit? Has anyone had any experience with changing gerbox with these engines?
