Hi, I am a newb, so cut me a bit of slack, please. My 2.0 ltr turbo diesel 406 estate engine is knackered after driving through flood!! removed injectors, would not turn over. Put a 22mm spanner on crank nut got a 3-foot pole and not a fraction of a move, even tried it backwards but absolutely solid. So new engine or scrapyard, it's been a brilliant servant and I will hate to see it go:( Anyway, has anybody changed an engine or tried and failed? Not sure about electronics not recognising engine, or something like that. Any ideas or help greatly appreciated. HawkMoth1
