electrical problem on a 405 bet you've never seen this one !!!!

    Hi i have a 405 diesel with a strange problem..... the interior light
    has stopped working so has the alarm and the central locking the
    interior clock resets itself and goes dim when you open the doors
    ....they are all on the same fuse and the fuse is ok any ideas....many

    I think a wire must be shorting to earth. You do get unexpected
    results.Waggle individual wires to see what happens. May fail altogether of
    course but you will have identified the problem and its not going to go
    away!

    ive tried all that and just spent 2 hours trying to trace the wires
    does anyone know what the relay colour code is it doesnt say in the
    manual and i'm wondering if maybe its a problem with the interior
    light relay shorting out ..... or maybe the fusebox ?????????...im
    really stuck with this one i cant even find the interior light relay
    any more ideas would be most welcome ...thanks ..shane
