reading the (many) reviews, this looks ideal for those of us with older
    cars (75,000 on my 306XT).

    http://www.ecotekplc.com/power_boost.htm

Can anyone recommend it / does anyone know of anyone who has actually
    tried it?

Does it live up to it's claims?

    Thanks

hi fitted fse powerboost to my 406 2.0 sri turbo
because of flatspot and the powerboost did sort it out
acceleration was quicker throttle response lot better
would say was worth the money and does do just what it says on the box

  3. You're talking about different things here guys...

Ecotek's Powerboost is an engine cleaner like 10k boost - you spray it
into the intake and it supposedly cleans out all the gunk, giving
    marginally better performance.

The FSE Powerboost valve is an adjustable fuel pressure regulator,
which makes the mixture richer under certain conditions and may help
flat spots / hesitancy on certain vehicles (possibly at the expense of
    worse fuel consumption).
