Driver's seat belt not always releasing from door pillar

    Hello 308 owners. I am new to this forum. I have a 2008 308 2L HDI that has and is great, but recently the driver's seat belt does not always release from the door pillar. After several pulls it usually releases, but today it would not! I was able to prise off the door pillar plastic trim panel to get a long screwdriver down to the unit. After a firmish blow, it released and has been OK since.
    Is this a one off, or do other owners have a similar problem?
    The seat belt unit is of the pyrotecnic variety, so I need to be very careful with it!
    Appreciate any relevant feedback from anybody.
