    Hi everyone!

Ive got a 406 exec 2001 petrol, and for some time now, noticed that after
driving for sometime, when it starts to get warm, the clutch pedal feels as
it needs oil somewhere along the mechanism and last saturday, i started to
feel a thump. The clutch, seems to be working as normal and i suspect its
something like the haudralic pump thats on the way out.
Went to Peugeot today to ask them if they could have a look at it and tell
me what the problem could be, but they repied that i had to leave the car
with them for a couple of days and would also have to pay £55.00 plus vat
just to find out what the problem is, so I told them to forget it and was
hopping that someone here could throw some light on the subject.

    Many thanks,

    J. Grilo
