Clicking noise from gearbox on 307 2005 Automatic

    When I turn the ignition key on - even before physically starting the car - there is a clicking noise from underneath the gearstick. This noise continues after the car has been started, when the automatic transmission is in Park position. It stops when put in drive or neutral.

    There are no error messages or fault lights but I am concerned about what it might be? Any ideas as to what this may be would be gratefully received!

    Good afternoon all. I am having the same problem with my 207 peugeot 307.

    STOP is on

    Showing breaking system faulty

    Any help will be appreciated. Thank you
