cd player doesn't play

    We have a radio with cd player. We just figured out how to enter the code again (after battery was disconnected), and the radio works. But if I put a cd in, nothing happens at all for a while, until it ejects--it's as if there should be a "play" button, but here isn't. Does anyone know what to do? Thanks!
