    Hi,
My 406 Turbo diesel is making a blowing sound ( a bit like the heater fan )
when the engine is pulling hard. It seems to coincide with the turbo
working. This is not a thing it used to do, should I worry? it coincided
with an engine transplant. I've had a snoop around all the ducting to and
from the intercooler but can't see any leaks. Any ideas please?

Just to report, working together the garage and i located the problem. It
was on the duct from the turbo to the intercooler just to the side of the
radiator under the aircon dryer. Very slight leak which only opened up when
the engine tilted under torque. Hope this helps someone else
