The haynes manual says there is no adjustment on the clutch cable - but the
byte point is in the wrong position
Any one know how to adjust an auto adjust clutch cable?
Any one understand how it works?
    Thanks

What about under the dash on the pedal.(like most fords)the half moon
shape and the jaw which are a pain todo if you have never done one
    before,,

  3. Just a thought. If the cable is self adjusting could this not mean that
the clutch has worn to the limit of that self adjustment?

The auto adjust cable is notoriously unreliable on the 306.
I got through two on my last 306 and one early in the life of my current
    306.
It's possible there may be nothing wrong with the clutch but the auto-adjust
    thingy is worn out.
