Anyone experienced an acceleration delivery problem on the injection
    engines?

When you move off from traffic lights etc.. it feels like its going to stall
and then will just take off after a second.

Please help, its really pissing me off and any day now someone will hit me
    from the back.

    Thanks,

    Declan

Only just started doing it or is the car new to you altogether? I hate
corsas for this very reason - they are fly-by-wire throttles with the engine
management deciding how much to open the throttle to keep emmisions low
etc - means everything happens slightly delayed and sort of like your
accelerator has an elastic link in it. Horrible - precisely the reason I
wont buy a new car. Had to drive a courtesy car corsa for 3 weeks - cornered
nicely for a car its size, stopped bloody well, but any interaction with the
engine was dissappointing to say the least.

  3. It's not quite the same since mine isn't a XSI, but it started that way and
got worse... in the end it actually stalled and was damn hard to start
again... conclusion: new fuel injectors and a lot of money...

Whats the mileage of your car? You could try to check thoses injectors
out... but it could be also some electronical problem...

    Sorry can help you more!
