407 fuel cap sensor

    Is the sensor replaceable or does it mean buying a new cap?

    ive just replaced my sensor it is at the top of the filler neck a small green block with a wire harness attached best remove the rear o/s road wheel & it will prise off with a short screw driver but you will see from the new one how it fixes also look at the filler cap to see if both magnets are presant they do fall out if miss handled hope this helps Chris
