407 Audio aux

    Hi I've purchased this gizmo from Amazon, supposedly to conect my iPhone to the car stereo. It connects in line fine & the phone connects, but there is no display & music from phone does not play?? I've read something about un muting the aux port, but it's all beyond me tbh, please help & keep terminology simple,

    I have just bought a 08 407 my iPhone connects and phone works through blue tooth but it won't play the music on my phone, can anyone help please
