    Hi

I have a 406 estate at the moment and am very happy with it. However, I am
thinking of changing it for a more recent model (mine is 5 years old).

I would like an Automatic Estate with cruise control and front arm rests
would be nice (crazy req i know!). Must be diesel as well. Is the
execuative model my only option as I cant seem to find any of the other
    model with an auto box?

    TIA

  2. Mmm my V6 is Auto. Petrol naturally.Front arm rests tend to be waste of
space except when cruising down the motorway without any thing else there.
    Not frequent enough nowadays though.

According to old issues of What Car? you could get an optional auto on
diesel Executives and SEs in 2003. Prior to that they were only available on
2.0 & 3.0 petrols. Not sure if SEs have cruise & armrests, but Executives
and GTXs do. Autos will be rare, so best to just ask the seller when one
    comes up.
