    Hi All

I'm having some intermittent problems with my radio - every so often
the speakers will give out what I would call an alarm type sound,
constant beeping! - the radio display seems to revert to the GPS.
The other day the radio was behaving in this manner and when I
switched the engine and ignition off the radio was still broadcasting
even thought he display was off.

    Anyone come across this before?

    Cheers

  2. Hi

Has this only just started to happen?

The radio will normally only beep every minute on a 406 when its been
swopped around from another 406 & not been unlocked.
The radio would need connecting up to a Peugeot / Citroen diagnostic
computer or laptop with correct software.

406 series two radios are locked to the VIN number from the factory, You
need to find a Peugeot / Citroen dealer or someone with the right software
    to unlock it.
