I needed t remove a locking wheel nut from my 406 estate earlier this
week. Had to give up and go to my local garage who took an hour to do
it because the corners had turned on the nut. Locking nuts now
replaced with ordinary ones. Make sure that you can get yours off
before you are faced with a puncture on a dark wet night.

  2. Hi Frank,

Did you get your locking nuts from peugeot ?
It rounded off because it is a poor quality locking nut ! noting to do with
    age or being too tight......

I know my locking nut socket shattered ! thats how good they are ! ! ! ! lol
   )

Aftermarket locking wheel nuts for alloy wheels are your best bet around £20
for a set maybe cheaper depending on where you go !

ALLESIO are very good and the socket that it comes with is perfect, these
lockers use a different type of locking method from the peugeot ones.....
(Thats because they know that design is unreliable).. !
