  1. hi all,

the inside roof lining comes off and already hangs down quite a
bit. it looks quite ugly, so i was thinking of fixing it again,
but i am not sure what with without making it even uglier than it
    is.

    any experience with that?

  2. its ussually held in place by the door rubber seals and their flanges, it
may also have a hole or two to take small plastic peg in the roof, it just
pops up into it. sorry i cant be anymore specific.

but it's made of textiles, so i would have to stick the fabric
that is hanging down with some kind of glue to the roof. above
the doors it is fine fixed, just in the middle it hangs down

  4. In that case you may need to get a look above the liner to see if there is
anything fixed to it that the factory used to hold it in place, you may need
to take it down in order to get it back up.
    regards, mark.

If it is like Land Rover products, the foam backing on the cloth has failed
and the only cure is to remove the headlining shell and have a new cloth glued
in. I tried gluing it back on one of my old Range Rovers - it was a waste of
    time.

It cost me A$180 to get a motor trimmer to remove, recover and refit my
    headling. Money well spent.
