I'm looking for a way to remove the top of the dash on a series 1 405 pug.
The top looks detachable, but i don't know how and would like to know.
The local (friendly!) pug dealer said it was a piece of cake but did not
give me details (dumb me for not asking how ;-)

Anyone have info on this topic?

    Thanks!

remove the switches and blanks then remove the 6mm bolts (10 mm socket size)
    lift off

Yes, the Hayns manual omits telling you about these bolts.

  4. "So how do I take the top of the dash out?"
"It's a piece of cake. 'Bye now."

    That's what I call service!
