My Pug 308 on a 10 plate (360000 miles diesel) is normally quiet as a mouse. I have noticed a knocking noise from the boot area, I have check the spare wheel and jack for movement, I have also took all the panels off and check for something such a s cables knocking on the bodywork (that what it sounds like). The thing is I can not replicate the noise if the car is standing still. It only does it when its on a rough road or when I turn sharply (left) into my drive. The drive is on a slight hill. Enough of all the info. Has anyone had any issues with knocking noises. I have noticed the front springs creak a bit. Could it be Spring and damper related?
