I'm changing the clutch and am stuck at how to get to the top starter motor bolts. Has anyone done this?

this a old post but if your like me and you have googled the issue it got you here
had to remove a 6 speed gearbox from a 208 and had the same issue, most find the bottom bolt and the one from the gearbox side under battery, its the top bolt that caused me most problems, I was removing gearbox and this bolt cost me hours, I tried from the top and that was a no go, the final solution was to remove the driveshaft bearing support bracket (my driveshaft were already out so you will have to pull the drivers driveshaft, there is bracket that supports some insulation type material, pop the clips and remove insulation then 2 bolts and remove the bracket, once that is out the way you have enough room to access the top starter motor bolt, good luck
