    Hi,

Just purchased a 08 plate 308 sport, it has the standard sport spec and
therefore comes with the standard headunit (no cd changer). My previous
car had ipod and bluetooth calling support via my Sony MEX-BT3700U head
unit. I have the Sony unit and I am considering fitting it into the 308
in order to get ipod support and bluetooth calling. A few questions though:

    1) I'm told I'll lose some functionality of the computer if I change the
headunit. What will I lose? Will it just be track name, radio station
name etc or anything more severe. I can keep the stalk controls but I'm
not sure how it would affect changing the settings/clock etc, which is
    normally done through the unit.

    2) Are there any (not too expensive) alternatives that will give me
effective ipod and bluetooth with the car as it is?

    3) I've seen the RT3 double din units that have bluetooth, ipod, gps etc
etc but I've found little specific information about them. Whenever I
search for them, I can never find where they are available, only sites
showing torrents for the gps software. I see on ebay that they do sell
a similar unit, but I've no idea if that would be any good...

Any suggestions on what I can do would be much appreciated!
