307diesel1.6 110hp (2007) knocking

    Just bought a 307sw it runs fine and sounds nice but after a few miles it develops a knocking sound from engine,then clears again, I'm inclined to think its a diesel knock rather than mechanical ! Has anyone had similar problems or know if there is any common faults with this engine or any ideas ! Ps have put good derv in and not Asda crap.
