    Hi there all,

I have purchased nine months ago my little black Peugeot 307.

Everything seems to work reasonably well including the ABS which saved me
from hiting a pedestrian earlier this morning in the rain (the idiot
lollipop man should have looked better next time when coming to the road
from around the back of a truck)

Besides all this, the main problem I am having is that the last 10 litres of
fuel you virtually have to trickle in because it always stops the pump. I
understand that there is no need to overfill the fuel tank but 10 litres is
    way to much gap.

    Can anyone please advise?

    Kindest regards

What do you mean trickle in?
Does it have to do with the fuel pump stopping filling up the fuel tank to
    soon?
I also think it is wrong, one time i pumped up continuosly and I filled 5
litres more, before feelling the gasoline coming up!
If anyone as another advice, please tell so.

    Hello,
Could that be like on 205s, were you need to turn the fuel nozzle ? If you
keep the nozzle staight up, you have the pump stopping everytime.

It has been a while since someone had replied to me.

What is happenig is that when there is about 10 litres, the pump will stop
and the only wasy that you can fill up to full is to trickle the last 10
    litres.

What you said does not happen at all in my case. I twisted the pump nozzle
    around but still no difference.

Before I take the car in for the usual service, I was asking if this was
    normal for the 307s

It sounds like that this is not normal so it is under warranty and I will
get them to check it out.

    Kindest rgards

  5. That happens to me with the New Scenic - even on an empty tank the cutoff
starts after a few litres.. strangely when I was in France I didn't notice
    it as much...
