Hi everyone, just to say hello and this site looks great!

I have a 2004 Peugeot 307 that the timing belt went so I purchased a used engine but the cylinder head on the replacement engine has two sensors on it whereas the "old" engine has not. Do I have to change over the heads to match the old wiring loom or can I use the "new" loom from the replacement engine and the car will start?

    Original Engine 2004 Peugeot 1.4 16v
    Replacement Engine 2001 Peugeot 1.4 16v

Any idea what the sensors are for?

Thanks guys hope you can help.
